SJC Partners are seeking an IT Security Manager to take on behalf of an excellent businesses due to their continued success and growth through acquisitions. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in defining and championing the key elements of information security and data privacy agenda.Responsibilities:Technology Ownership: Serve as the technology owner of a comprehensive data security assurance framework. Take responsibility for continuously improving network and system controls.Security Operations: Lead technical aspects of Security Operations, including analysing and interpreting Security Operations Centre (SOC) output. Own the remediation process for emerging vulnerabilities. Conduct and manage penetration testing, summarizing and triaging the results. Collaborate with suppliers on remediation programs. Quantify and document residual risk.Security Incident Management: Act as the technical lead during incident investigations. Manage the interface with specialist practices through cyber insurers.Proactive Risk Management: Quantify all Security and Technology risks against the CIA triad. Lead an ongoing program for proactive risk reduction. Run desktop simulations of business continuity/disaster recovery events, translating outputs into actionable items.Education and Advocacy: Define and deliver biannual education programs to all staff based on emerging global threats. Act as the principal advocate for secure business practices, identifying improvements and ensuring workforce adherence.Requirements:Essential: Established InfoSec professional with a demonstrable record of managing information security/data privacy programs. Degree in a related subject or a sector-specific qualification. Strong technical skills, including secure architecture, development, and SOC experience. Previous responsibility for delivering and maintaining ISO, Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS certifications. Clear, articulate communicator, capable of writing detailed documents and executive summaries.
