Role Purpose

The Security Culture, Training & Awareness Lead will be tasked with developing and delivering security training and awareness campaigns to targeted user cohorts to compliment the existing group-wide training.

In addition, the role will be tasked with looking forwards and contributing to the Culture, Training & Awareness strategy, ensuring alignment with the People & Culture workstream as well as other critical workstreams with a culture focus.

As critical national infrastructure, it’s imperative to have truly Embedded security-aware behaviours, driven through a continuous programme of training and awareness. You will need to ensure security training and awareness communicates our security policies and requirements as well as meeting all industry regulations and standards.

Communication is key to engaging with employees and changing behaviours, so you’ll need to create a positive programme which is able to effectively speak to employees from a range of different roles as well as different cultures, backgrounds, and education levels.

Primary Responsibilities

• Development and delivery of targeted holistic security training and awareness campaigns to user cohorts
• Regular engagement with Training & Awareness team to ensure alignment on campaigns
• Regular engagement with separation workstreams to ensure alignment of culture strategies
• Identify and drive improvements to the way in which awareness campaigns are run and delivered to all colleagues
• Manage the strategy and roadmap for information security training and awareness ensuring it aligns with the overall security strategy
• Development of long-term Security Culture, Training & Awareness strategy
• Producing regular reporting metrics on delivery of training & awareness
• Supporting the delivery of Security Culture, Training & Awareness at team events, eg: offsites

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience of defining and delivering a training and awareness strategy
• Experience of authoring and delivering security training to a distributed workforce
• Experience of running effective security awareness campaigns
• Experience articulating a product strategy in terms of consumer and business value
• Having proven success in working on unstructured problems, defining hypothesis, creating MVPs, running experiments and analysing results to drive data-driven decisions
