Lead Infrastructure Engineer, Projects, Azure, Microsoft 365, COR5487

This is a great opportunity for an experienced, enterprise level Lead Infrastructure Engineer, with a strong focus on the technical delivery of infrastructure projects.

The Role

As the Infrastructure Projects Lead, working in a predominantly hands-off capacity, you will be responsible for the coordination of all projects that the Infrastructure team are supporting. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer, will attend project scoping meetings, plan the resourcing of the team, translate business requirements into technical elements (such as server builds or security changes) run project meetings, and coordinate the workflow of the Infrastructure team members, to ensure the successful delivery of the required tasks. Working predominantly from home, the Infrastructure Projects Lead, will need to attend the Oxford site on a weekly basis, with occasional travel to other sites.

What s Required?

We are looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer with:

• A strong technical background as a Senior Systems Administrator/Systems Engineer, within enterprise-level environments
• Significant experience of scoping requirements, allocating resources and overseeing the technical delivery of varied project work
• A good understanding of Microsoft Azure and overall cloud concepts
• A good awareness of the Microsoft 365 stack, to include Intune
• A general awareness of ITIL concepts, PCI and Cyber Essentials compliance
