Operational Technology (OT) Security Lead
Permanent Salary: £60,000 – c. £85,000
Location: Hartlepool
Working Arrangement: On site

I’m currently recruiting for an OT Security Lead to work for a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) organisation, helping to secure their OT systems using your knowledge of industry best practice, core OT frameworks (IEC62443) and cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO27001).

The ideal candidate will have experience of the above within CNI, alongside good stakeholder management skills alongside a pragmatic and business solution focused work methodology.

This role will involve

• Risk assessment and management of OT assets
• Articulating risk to system owners, talking through mitigations to reduce risk and managing residual risks, updating and maintaining the risk register.
• Completing checks for malware and threats
• Ensuring OT assets are backed up in terms of configurations and software
• Cyber incident response planning
• Maintaining contemporary knowledge of cyber threats and trends
• Collaborating with OT counterparts based at different locations
• Contributing to cyber security awareness in OT using your ability to liaise with cyber-technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Helping to represent the organisation in meetings with ONR/NCSC

What I’m looking for

• Eligibility for SC clearance (5 years working in the UK)
• OT Experience in Critical National Infrastructure
• Strong network security understanding – DMZ, Network Segmentation, Firewalls, Network routing, switching and configuration
• HNC, Degree or degree-equivalent professional certifications useful for higher end salaries
