Security Architect / Security Engineer – SC Cleared – 6 months (remote, only travel to site for on-demand meetings London or Bristol). c 720 pd

Looking for a Security Architect with a prior technical background as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer or Security Engineer.Need a strong Architectural focus, the Architect is to go beyond critiquing patterns and assist the Lead Architect to consult, design and implement; security enforcing functions, policies & procedures.

There are strong BA and technical elements to this role, we require an Architect comfortable with specifying both operational and technical layers.

We aren’t looking for Information Assurance candidates or Security Architects from an IA background with limited / no development experience. This is not a Governance, Risk and compliance focused role; these aspects are already well covered.

Looking for someone with experience working in Defence, MOD, PAG or other central government clients.

Ideally experience working at or developing secure systems or above.

• MS Zero Trust Architecture and Enterprise Access model
• Enterprise Architecture modelling
• Identity access management including Identity Governance and Administration
• Must have experience with AD DS, RBACs and policy implementation
• Ideally experience with IGA solutions eg Sailpoint, OneIdentity, Omada.
• Ideally experience in Development of JML Processes
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Ideally experience with PAM solutions eg CyberArck, Delinea, HashiCorp, Boundary.
• Authentication, Authorisation, Access solutions
• Secrets Management
• Ideally experience with solutions eg HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk Secrets Manager
• Data life-cycle management
• Including specification of policies, procedures and data life-cycle security solutions.
• Virtualisation and Infrastructure security
• Ideally developing private cloud environments or design patterns
• Ideally supporting legacy applications and infrastructure
