We are currently looking for an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading digital healthcare company based in the Birmingham area. As the Azure Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for managing the environments the platforms run on whilst helping to move customer environments into Cloud based platforms using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft based infrastructure technologies.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Azure Infrastructure Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Implement and manage Microsoft Intune and Defender 365 for BYOD and security compliance (Windows, IOS, MacOS and Android).

2. Design, architect, and refine Azure-based solutions with scalability, redundancy, and efficiency in mind.

3. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, including Cyber Essentials, NHS Digital Technology Assessment Criteria, and Data Security and Protection Toolkit.

4. Develop and maintain advanced Azure infrastructure using scripting tools like Bicep or Terraform.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Azure Infrastructure Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a IT related field.

2. Proven industry experience in the healthcare sector or similar

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Azure (Infrastructure, AI), Microsoft 365, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Autopilot, DevOps and Scripting (Python, Powershell, Bash)
