SOC Project Manager (Current MOD DV Clearance)

Start Date: ASAP – We can accommodate a reasonable notice period – 4 weeks

Contract Length: 6 months + Extension

Location: On-site in Corsham, Wiltshire. 5 days a week in the office.

Pay: £550 – £650 per day inside the IR35. Flexible! Please apply an share your rate if it doesn’t fall within this bracket.

I am working with a leading global consultancy that is looking for a SOC Project Manager that holds active CV Clearance to lead a project in their security operations center based in Corsham.

Role

The SOC Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact for our client and coordinate delivery of work undertaken by 4 teams deployed in our client’s organisation. The SOC Project Manager will be comfortable using agile delivery methods to address our client’s priorities and requirements as they evolve and in a way that aligns with Maturity Indicator Level 3 (MIL3) in the Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2).

Experience

• Experience Agile Programme Management
• Experience of being the primary point of contact between clients and delivery teams
• Experience of work relating to SOC in the military domain
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2) & NIST Framework (CSF)
• Experience of SOC operating within the Military domain

Important Knowledge

• C2M2, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-172, ISO
• Current market and emerging leaders in data analytical and SIEM platforms.
• Network security implementations (e.g host-based IDS, IPS), including their function & placement
• Cyber defence and infosec policies, procedures, and regulations
• Network security architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components, and principles.

Important skills

• Resource management
• Proven experience of writing documentation for clients in Defence or wider-HMG
• Cyber (e.g CISM / CISSP)
