This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading company leveraging machine learning to analyse fraudulent behaviour. You will be working with 25 of the top 100 global banks as customers using this company’s product across their portfolios.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day-to-day:

• Foster and nurture strong relationships with fellow fraud prevention experts within the customer community, ensuring they derive maximum value from solutions.
• Offer subject matter expertise (SME) support to empower customers and align products with their strategic plans.
• Collaborate with customers and Data Scientists to consistently enhance fraud detection rates while minimizing friction for legitimate users.
• Utilise a data-driven approach, meeting success criteria for proof of value and pilot projects.
• Educate potential and new customers on this companies fraud product, addressing their specific challenges and use cases.
• Implement tactical deployment of rules with customers to counter acute fraud attacks.
• Emphasize continuous guidance on best practices for customers.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product strategy and delivery.
• Support Data Science in researching and staying ahead of new and emerging threats, spanning key use cases such as Account Takeover, Account Opening, Remote Access Scams, Social Engineering Scams, and Mule detection.
• Provide comprehensive reporting and insights on fraud detection performance.
• Share compelling stories and insights from the field with the Sales Enablement team, aiming to be a thought leader in the fraud prevention space.
• Offer SME support consistently throughout the customer journey.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with financial institutions’ fraud departments and/or fraud monitoring tools.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams.
• Strong SQL experience.
• Experience with Python and/or R
• Strong understanding of statistical modelling techniques.
• Excellent presentation skills with history of presenting to a wide range of audiences.
• Excellent business and customer relationships.
• Strong track record in both conceptual frameworks and technical execution while conducting data driven analysis.
• Excellent communication skills as well as stakeholder management skills.
• A strong numerate degree from a Russel Group University.
