Our vision is to be the UK’s number one provider of secure, integrated cloud services to the small to mid-size market.We are looking for a Cyber Security Assurance Tester to join our Cyber Security Assurance team at Six Degrees. The core focus of the Cyber Security Assurance Tester will be to run CHECK jobs and scope penetration tests accurately and ensuring personal compliance with relevant legislation and standards. You will focus on delivering accurate technical results in accordance with a scope and test plan. Performing a broad range of complex penetration tests that demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach. We’re looking for you to apply your knowledge of configuration errors, vulnerabilities, and coding flaws to create and execute a series of tests to validate the security of a system or product. You will share the penetration test results to both technical and non-technical audiences and enable collaboration between stakeholders.In addition, we’re looking for someone that is CHECK qualified and holds one of the following certifications – CREST Certified Infrastructure Tester, CREST Certified Web Application Tester, Cyber Scheme Senior Security Tester, Cyber Scheme Web Application Tester or GCHQ Principal Penetration Tester.Ideally, candidates will have had previous experience within multiple areas of testing (e.g., Mobile Applications, Thick Clients, Internal/External Infrastructures, Social Engineering, Configuration Reviews). You’ll also have a strong understanding of Information Technology and actively maintain an awareness of developments in the penetration testing and Information Security field.
