This highly successful organisation is looking for a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer to join an established software team with extensive experience of advising teams and ensuring information security compliance within industry standard. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team communicating with all levels of staff.

Key duties for the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer include:

• Implement Cyber Security, Privacy and Governance frameworks that met regulatory and legal requirements
• Liaise with leadership to ensure alignment of compliance and Cyber Security initiatives with business objectives
• Creating and designing overarching policies and ensuring sub policies, procedures and processes are aligned with corporate guidelines and reviewed regularly
• Create and manage a corporate governance pack and perform regular information audits across the business in compliance with GDPR
• Perform BCDR audits, security audits, risk assessment and change reviews to identify areas for improvement

Core skills & experience for this Deputy Chief Information Security Officer role includes:

• Certifications in security (CISA, CISSP, CISM and risk management)
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Solid experience in security leadership roles
• Excellent communication skills
