In your new role, the seamless integration of assets into Qualys for vulnerability monitoring and governance. Our team stands poised to navigate the complexities of cybersecurity, safeguarding your digital ecosystem with precision and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate with customer and third-party security operations centre reporting as well as integration with security incident procedures.
Proactive identification of vulnerabilities.
Provide supporting information on potential impacts and mitigating actions for new threats or vulnerabilities from vendor, threat intelligence, and subscriptions.
Creation of Security improvements which would be managed via SIP plans to ensure security threats and vulnerabilities are appropriately identified and managed.
Pro-actively logging incidents and changes to carry out remediation work and repeated security changes.
What you will Ideally Bring:
Strong Knowledge & Understanding of vulnerability management tool Qualys VMDR.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.
Relevant certifications such as Qualys Certified Specialist (QCS) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly desirable.
