Penetration Tester – Active SC Clearance – £650/day + DOE (Outside IR35) – Remote – 3 months contract (SCC FLEX CONTRACT)

We are seeking a skilled Penetration Tester (SC Cleared) with expertise in penetration testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various testing methodologies and possess strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Your responsibilities as a Penetration Tester:

• Conduct hands-on penetration testing across various domains including web applications, mobile applications, wireless networks, infrastructure, red teaming, and physical security assessments.
• Define testing scopes and ensure adherence to the highest standards of testing activities.
• Lead and execute penetration tests while contributing to cross-discipline security projects as required.
• Ensure the quality and clarity of client reports, translating technical findings into understandable insights for non-technical audiences.
• Plan and create penetration methods, scripts, and tests.
• Simulate security breaches to assess system security.
• Provide guidance on methods to mitigate or reduce security risks to systems.
• Utilize strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or C++.
• Familiarize with cloud assessments, phishing attacks, and breach simulations.

As a successful Penetration Tester, you will have:

• Active SC clearance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating systems and networks such as Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of web application security and relevant security tools.
• Possess relevant certifications such as CPTS, CompTIA PenTest+, Crest, or OSCP.
• Understand security standards like CIS controls and NIST CSF.
• Experience in IT and OT/ICS/CNI cybersecurity environments.

• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification
• GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN)
