Salary Range: £65,000 to £67,500 (based on experience)

Overview:

My client, a leading UK based IT Services organisation, are seeking a Penetration Test Led to join their rapidly expanding team on a permanent basis.

The Penetration Test Lead will be responsible for leading the team and taking part in penetration testing and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the organization’s IT infrastructure, applications, and systems. This role involves executing testing methodologies, analysing results, and providing detailed reports and recommendations for mitigating security risks.

Team Leadership and Mentorship of the Following Areas:

• Penetration Testing
• Vulnerability Assessment
• Security Research and Development
• Collaboration and Communication
• Compliance and Standards
• Incident Response

Qualifications/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, CEH, or similar.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in penetration testing or security assessments.
• Proven experience in leading large penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
• Management of team members/security individuals
• Strong background in network security, application security, and security architecture.

Skills:

• Excellent Leadership skills and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques (eg, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate complex security issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Scripting and programming languages (eg, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
