Infrastructure Engineer (Cyber Security Focussed) – Ellesmere Port – £60,000The Company:We’re working in partnership with an international leader in the manufacture of chemicals for various industries. Due to growing demand for security across their infrastructure estate we’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to focus on the management of their cyber security of the operational infrastructure.The Role:Your role is to support both the Infrastructure and Cyber Managers within the business, acting as the bridge between the two departments. It’s essential that you can communicate with the teams, understanding the specific requirements to implement the necessary changes with minimal disruption to service and uptime. This is a new position for the organisation, as such we’re hoping to find someone who can help shape the future of this role. It’s critical for this role to understand the cyber risks and how to manage and vulnerabilities across the infrastructure. The Requirements:

• Previous experience with the administration and maintenance of server infrastructure (Linux / Windows / Azure / VMware)
• Good understand of the Microsoft Defence Suite (Defender / Sentinal)
• Good understanding of how to identify security threats and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 package (Intune / Azure AD / etc.)
• General understanding of Networking Security Policies
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
