Robert Walters is working in partnership with a UK leading utility infrastructure services provider. A multibillion turnover over business, specialising in providing services across water, energy, transport, and telecoms. Due to continued growth, they are keen to expand their technology and architecture practice.

As such, they are keen to appoint a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring the security systems across group. You will ensure security of online services, filtering suspicious activity and finding/mitigate security risks.

The permanent opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer, will pay a salary range of £45,000 to £50,000 plus benefits. This is a home-based role.

Cyber Security Engineer: Duties

• Monitor/Act on security incidents, requests and events
• Ensure threats/breaches are managed to minimise impact
• Diagnose security incidents
• Investigate causes of incidents and find resolutions
• Escalate unresolved incidents
• Monitor security software (CrowdStrike, Appcheck, Active Directory)
• Manage IS reports (CrowdStrike, Mimecast)
