Job Title: Product Owner – High-Performance Computing (HPC)Contract: £450 – £500 p/d – Outside IR35

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to lead the development and management of High-Performance Computing (HPC)tools and applications.

The Product Owner is crucial for driving the virtual engineering strategy within the business, encompassing Product Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, and more.

The Product Owner will have a strong technical background in HPC – experience surrounding Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) being desirable for this role also.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Owner:

• Outside IR35
• Lead the management and development of HPC applications and tools.
• Develop and maintain the architecture, technology roadmap, and vision for HPC tools (Pre, Solve and Post)
• Strong understanding of HPC technical architecture, including CAE applications, storage, cloud, and virtualization – AWS experience preferred.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and validation of HPC applications and tools.
• Manage technical expertise and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and strategic vendors
• Oversee risk management, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and business continuity.
• Drive innovation in digital products to solve business problems – managing the transition of digital products from development to BAU.
• Ability to frame and solve complex business problems – ensuring product delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints
• Oversee the alignment of supply and demand for HPC and CAE products.
• Experience with agile methodologies an advantage
• Hybrid working – will consider remote for the perfect candidate
