We’re working with a global organisation who are expecting to double their turnover over the next 3 years through M&A activity and are looking for a Solution Architect to lead on the design of the organisation’s Dynamics 365 platform. Looking at the capability of the current solution and working with the organisation to plan for the future state of the platform, this person will play a pivotal role in designing the architecture of the Finance Systems, ensuring their successful integration and operation within the organisation’s IT landscape. This includes assessing current systems, identifying improvements, and ensuring that financial technologies are aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical architectures for financial systems ensuring they meet business and operational requirements
• Lead the technical planning, system integration and migration strategies for finance related projects.
• Define architecture standards and best practice for the financial domain and ensure the finance system architecture is scalable, secure and adaptable for future requirements.
• Lead the integration of D365 financial systems eg, Accounting software, treasury systems, with other enterprise systems such as CRM, HR, and Supply Chain systems.
• Work closely with finance leaders and C-level stakeholders to understand financial requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimise the performance of financial systems ensuring efficient data flows and implement solutions for automation.
• Ensure all financial systems are compliant and maintain data security and integrity while implementing robust security protocols ensuring finance systems are protected from cyber threats.
• Responsible for ensuing solution architecture documentation including architectural diagrams, system configurations and process flows.
• Ensure proper governance over financial systems enforcing architectural standards and compliance.

Required Skills/Experience

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a dedicated architecture role.
• You must have experience of designing Dynamics 365 F&O (D365) solutions.
• Experience of working with non-technical users to understand requirements and translate those requirements into technical solutions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
