1 st Line Support Engineer – Kent – £28,000 + Excellent benefits + career development

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing Managed Service Provider in Kent for a 1 st Line Support Engineer. You will be responsible for 1 st /2nd line technical support and will be required to visit client premises to provide on-site support when required.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide desk-side and remote based end-user support to troubleshoot issues and problems with equipment and/or systems.
• Setting up accounts for new users.
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
• Administering Microsoft 365.
• Undertaking ad-hoc projects as instructed by the IT Manager and Management Team.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server
• Experience of supporting Microsoft 365
• Networking knowledge and experience

• Full clean UK driving licence (for manual vehicle)
• Candidate must pass DBS check

Desirable:

• Microsoft Professional Certification
• Experience of deploying and managing Azure solutions
• WatchGuard certification and experience
• Experience of ConnectWise
• Experience supporting Apple Macs
• Create and manage scripts using PowerShell and Automate RMM tool
• Management of hosted services for Web, Email and SQL databases

Package:

• £25,000-£28,000 per annum
• 22 days per year holiday (plus bank holidays)
