The Role:

They are looking for a skilled 3rd line Infrastructure Engineer to join their Poole-based team. This role is predominantly office based, although hybrid working will be considered with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. You will play a crucial role in securing the infrastructure of clients, ensuring the reliability and security of their systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support and troubleshoorting for complex infrastructure issues, including servers, networks and storage systems
• Design, implement and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that meet the security needs of the clients
• Collaborate with cross-fuctional teams to identify and implen=ment security best practises and measures tailored to each individual client requirement
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation
• lead projects related to infrastructure security enhancements, upgrades and deployments
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure security configurations, procedures and policies
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions

Who are you?

• Previous experience within a similar (experience of cyber security would be a plus but not essential)
• Previous experience within an MSP environment
• Expertise in managing and securing complex infrastructure envirments, including servers (Windows/Linux), networkd and storage systems
• Proficiency in virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V etc) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• A strong understanding of security principles and best practises with experience implamenting security controls and protocols
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant certifications (eg CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
