My client is an awarding and leading aerospace corporation who is responsible for design/development and manufacturing of aircraft across the continent.
The role: Senior Bid Manager
Seeking to hire a Bid Manager within Cyber security space, this roles reports directly to the UK Cyber Head of Programmes, you will play a pivotal role in shaping bid strategies, crafting content and managing the end-to-end bid process across a varied government client base.
You will assemble and lead a bid team with the relevant service/product/business knowledge required to win and retain work from new and existing clients. You will be responsible for managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award, including value proposition/strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management.
As such, you will be the primary contact point for all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that deliverable’s are produced in-line with requirements, are to an exceptional standard, and are managed through the business acquisition gate/quality reviews and client approval process. Responsible for the success of the proposal delivering to the budget and commitment dates.
This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills. This role may require transnational travel and networking across UK and European government.
