Role Purpose
The Cyber/IT Business Analyst will work closely with the Cyber Project Manager and the Head of Security Business Enablement on the business Separation programme and it’s IT projects, to translate the Cyber work streams requirements and all support documents to achieve the deliverables, goals and outcomes and provided vital business analyst insight.
As Cyber/IT Business Analyst, you will work closely with business and programme stakeholders to understand their business and technology requirements and their processes and procedures, acting as an interface between the business Programme and the cyber security organisation.
Management of relationships with the business/programme is key to delivering our cybersecurity strategy. Whether it be implementing new solutions, driving operational effectiveness and efficiency, or providing guidance back to further enhance our strategy, the Cyber/IT Business Analyst provides the requirements engagement and builds stakeholder relationships to enable the Programme and security organisation to deliver maximum value.
The role will be to gather business/technology/service requirements from various business and programme stakeholders and after analysing them from both functional and/or technical perspective, converting them into respective user stories / use cases for the project team and aligning them within the product backlog as per the priority assignment. Ensuring the secure design and secure implementation of technology solutions, platforms, processes and procedures, and infrastructure to support:
Separation of the business into an independent organisation

This role may be subject to National Security Vetting (NSV) in addition to our standard background checks being undertaken. National Security Vetting requires that you meet the Minimum Residency Criteria (MRC). You will have lived continuously in the United Kingdom for the required period of time, which in this case is 5 years.
