Our client is a leading offshore law practise, supporting banking and finance, M&As, investment funds and PE, trusts and private wealth.
We are currently recruiting for a Chief Information Security Officer to oversee the development, coordination, and implementation of the organization’s information security and data protection programs.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing guidance on information and cyber security risks and concerns.
Developing and managing the organization’s information security strategy.
Implementing the ISO 27001 Information Security Framework.
Enhancing the organization’s Information and Cyber Security systems.
Leading the Information Security and Data Protection function.
Establishing measurable strategic plans and operational procedures.
Managing resources and budgets effectively.
Handling information security alerts and breaches.
Ensuring compliance with security practices and procedures.
Providing necessary information to regulatory authorities.
Collaborating with the Technology department to meet security requirements.
Managing client and regulator inquiries regarding information security controls.
The ideal candidate will possess a recognized information security qualification, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Expertise in regulatory and contractual requirements is strongly preferred, as is the ability to develop effective compliance systems.
