CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) – vCISO / Fractional CISO
Remote £600+ per day Outside IR35 6 Months
We have been exclusively engaged by a SAAS start-up, looking to bring in a CISO as they enter scaleup phase. Previously, cyber security has been managed by a 3rd party and they are now looking to bring this role in-house.
As the CISO you will have a fantastic opportunity to truly influence this businesses Cyber Security function and their maturity level.
The successful CISO will have:
Current experience in a CISO role, heading up a Security function.
Experience managing a global function would be hugely beneficial.
Experience building a security function with a lack of maturity.
Experience implementing information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
Experience in supporting tenders.
Any experience working a similar role in a scaleup and/or a SAAS business is highly desired but not essential.
Initially the requirement will be two days per month and ad-hoc days if/when required. The contract will be 6 months.
This role is best suited to an experienced CISO, providing similar support to other businesses alongside this contract. Either a “fractional” CISO or vCISO.
