Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer – City of London (Hybrid) – 70K-80k + 15% Bonus & EXCELLENT Benefits

Due to continued growth their IT Director is looking to add an experienced Cloud & Cyber Engineer into his small team.

The role requires significant hands-on experience in a modern cloud-based environment and together with the MSP and MSSP, the role will have a strong emphasis on cyber and information security, service operations, incident, problem, infrastructure and systems management. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of service issues, incident and problem management. Working with members of the IT Team, the MSP/MSSP and external vendors to successful resolution and deployment of solutions
• Attend and contribute to regular MSP/MSSP Service Management and review meeting
• Motivate, mentor and train members of the IT Team, sharing knowledge and aiding personal growth and development
• Working with the IT Team and MSP/MSSP to harden security posture, configure, enhance and streamline the Azure and wider IT and SaaS environment, associated systems and infrastructure
• In partnership with the MSP/MSSP, manage the Azure, WVD/AVD, InTune infrastructure, IT Assets and Inventory to secure and detailed standards
• Ensure all in-scope systems operate securely and efficiently
• Proactive security hardening of the environment and IT estate, meeting or exceeding best-practice wherever possible
• Follow established procedures for identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities
• Conduct and document regular firewall audit reviews, scrutinising policies, rulesets, access controls, VPN’s, networking to industry standards, e.g. ISO 27001, PCI DSS
• Establish positive working relationships within the business, and with key stakeholders and 3rd parties, with a particular focus on day-to-day and project activities with the MSP and MSSP

Skills in as many areas as possible of the below:

• PowerShell
• Qualys VMDR
• Microsoft InTune, Autopilot, Azure AD and Group Policy Administration
• Azure Virtual/Windows Desktops
• Microsoft Defender full stack (cloud, endpoint, server),
• Teams
• SharePoint
• Office 365
• Palo Alto Firewall administration and configure

• £70,000 – £80,000
• 15%-20% Bonus
