Construction Solicitor

A leading law firm in Manchester is seeking a Construction Solicitor with 2 years PQE to join its busy and successful Construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on all aspects of construction law including construction contracts, disputes, and project management
• Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke agreements
• Providing legal support to clients throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion
• Conducting litigation and dispute resolution, including adjudications, arbitrations, and court proceedings
• Advising on procurement and tendering issues
• Developing and maintaining client relationships, and actively seeking new business opportunities

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor with 2 years PQE in construction law
• Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage a busy workload and work effectively under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills
