We are looking for individuals looking to progress their career as a cyber and information security analyst for our clients in-house IT team within the defence industry.
Our client is a well established and leading design and manufacturing business, with sites across the UK. Their product range is cutting edge and services the surveillance and defence industries with products specific to client requirements.
This role is ideal for the individual with some experience with cyber security in the defence industry, and will be focused on developing your skills into a well-rounded cyber security engineer.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Monitoring, detecting and analysing security incidents and threats to the system
Establishing a streamlined process for reviewing security aspect letters
Collaborating with the IT manager to prepare documentation to transition into a secure design approach of classified systems
Conduct vulnerability assessments and testing to expose potential weaknesses in the system
