My client, a leading consultancy firm, is experiencing significant growth driven by increased client demand for cyber and information security improvement initiatives. As a result, they are seeking an aspiring Cyber Risk Audit Consultant to join their dynamic, client-facing Cyber Security team on a permanent basis and they are offering a generous benefits package alongside a salary of up to £50K.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries, helping to assess and enhance their cyber security posture. You will play a pivotal role in evaluating IT systems, identifying security risks, and auditing security controls, while documenting and recommending improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Auditing a range of SME organisations, through close engagement with the client. Producing the appropriate documentation to pass on.
• Collate audit findings & recommendations to improve any security weaknesses identified.
• Develop relationships with the existing clients through clear remote communications.

My client is BIG on career progression so this role would suit an individual with a few years of experience, a self-starter attitude & the drive to progress on a long-term basis (my client allows 20% – 30% of your working time to be spent on professional development!).

You will have:

• 2-3 years’ experience within cyber security auditing
• Strong knowledge across cyber security (ideally ISO27001)
• Strong communication & presentation skills
• Any cyber certification will be beneficial
