This position is for a Cyber Security Operations Engineer, a vital role in the technology team, responsible for safeguarding systems against security threats, managing security tools. You will report to the IT Director, work hybrid at either Newbury or Watford (preferred)

Description
Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company’s digital infrastructure.
Conduct regular system tests to ensure the highest level of security.
Respond promptly to any security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses.
Keep abreast of the latest cyber security trends and threat mitigation techniques.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into all technology projects.
Develop and improve security incidents response process and playbooks
Profile
Demonstrated experience in Cyber Security Operations – security incidents and threats management, security controls, etc.
Practical skills in using, managing and administrating different security tools like AV, SIEM, EDR, etc.
Experience in playbooks and technical documents writing
Strong knowledge of cyber security trends
Strong problem-solving analytic skills
Strong knowledge in ISO27001, Cyber Essential Plus, NIST, etc.
Job Offer
Hybrid working, 2 days on site Newbury OR Watford
25 days annul leave ( increase to 30 days base on the years of serving )
