Cyber Security Analyst

– Permanent

– Must have full right to work in UK

– Northampton ( Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

– £45-50k per annum + benefits

VIQU have partnered with an MSP based business who are seeking the expertise of a Cyber Security Analyst. You will be partner with the post sales team in providing solutions with your hands on experience and proven track record in this area.

Your experience in both on prem and cloud-based security coupled with security architecture, governance and controls will be paramount in securing this role.

This client requires someone who has worked in a consulting or MSP based environment, with a proven track record for delivering secure and compliant and robust systems.

Key Responsibilities of a Cyber Security Analyst

• Establish and maintain best practice security controls
• Cyber security incident first response to analyse, mitigate and remediate and recover from threats
• Consult clients on systems, services and controls in security
• Manage and monitor alerts
• Run security reports
• Vulnerability assessments

Essential Experience required of a Cyber Security Analyst

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (i.e. SOC Analyst, Security Analyst).
• Exposure to securing a wide range of technologies, systems, services and devices.
• Experience using Azure and Microsoft 365 is desirable.
• Security-related certifications including Security+, CySA+, CCSP, SSCP, CISA or similar would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Broad understanding of technology solutions in corporate environments.
• Experience working in a managed service environment.
