Cyber Security AnalystSalary: up to £55,000 + BenefitsLocation: 3 weeks onsite in Central London, depending on business demandsWorking Hours: 9:45am – 6pm – Monday to FridayContract: Permanent A globally renowned business is looking to expand their Cyber Security capabilities by hiring a Cyber Security Analyst to uphold the security standards as established in policies, procedures and guidelines, while continuously analysing and acting upon findings to reduce cybersecurity risks. The Cyber Security Analyst will be joining a supportive and collaborative team who are keen to assist you in growing your skillset. In addition to this, the Cyber Security Analyst will join a company who take pride in helping their staff grow and develop within the business offering opportunities for you progress in the business.Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Analyst:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the in-place security solutions
• Participate in the planning and design of Technology security architecture
• Participate in the planning and design of Corporate Technology business continuity plan and disaster recovery plan
• Identify, investigate and swiftly remediate security breaches detected by those systems, and security incidents reported to the IT service desk.
• Implement new security solutions, participating in the creation and or maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures as well as conducting vulnerability audits and assessments.
• Use a blend of structured and flexible best practices for providing excellent technology services that meets users’ needs, including the ITIL framework, working collaboratively with our technical teams

Essential Skills for the Cyber Security Analyst:

• At least 3 of these certifications – CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA), GIAC Information Security Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator: Security or Associate of (ISC)2
• ISO27001 & NCSC
• Setting up policies and standards
• Hardening platforms
• Strong operational management and working with different teams
• Documentation
• Team player
• Communication skills

Desirable Skills for the Cyber Security Analyst:

• More certifications
• Functional standards
