Reed Technology are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to play a crucial role in safeguarding critical infrastructure for their client within a built environment.

We are looking for a cyber-security professional who is passionate about delivering the best outcomes for their clients, flexible, open to new challenges, and possesses strong social and communication skills.

Cyber Security Consultant• Bristol• Job Type: Full-time

Day to Day of the Role:• Work directly with clients to identify cyber risks and scope sustainable solutions.• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.• Develop and implement cyber security strategies and policies.• Deliver oversight and assurance programmes to manage cyber risk.• Manage project delivery, including task and commercial management.• Recruit, train, and coach cyber security staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:• Qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.• A relevant cyber-security professional qualification or evidence of working towards one.• Experience in cyber security consultancy or within an organisation operating physical assets.• Proven people management skills for coaching and development.• Familiarity with built environment industry practices and technologies.• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
