We have an opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our client in a remote working role, following initial training (at least once a week for the first few months) in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a full-time 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday) permanent position.
You will be working for a Company with over 25 years experience providing operations management, engineering services and energy management solutions.
Whilst developing, implementing and maintaining all aspects of company cyber security you will be:
Ensuring compliance to standards and processes and identifying and managing risk
Delivering technical advice, guidance and process schedules to minimise system threats
Liaising with new and existing clients to evaluate their cyber security, and group IT business system to maintain departmental relations
Monitoring engineer competence and capability, leading and providing developmental guidance
Promoting a positive safety culture whilst working effectively with all staff
Analysing and leading investigations into security issues determining and addressing root causes, whilst maintaining knowledge of security technologies, trends and threats
You will need:
HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
To be proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience of application of HASAWA, PUWER and NIST
Ability to develop and manage KPIs/PSPIs and regulatory compliance
Experience with managing obsolescent and ageing equipment
Broad industry experience and familiarity with OT cyber security
