Your new companyA large Financial Government Department Your new roleYou will be the second line of defence within the risk directorate. You will be working closely with the Senior Cybersecurity Manager by providing oversight and assurance of cybersecurity strategy. You will be the primary point of contact for the suppliers working closely to help creat a strong and robust cybersecurity environment. You will be monitoring, identifying and escalating cybersecurity risks around the business and making sure any issues are properly dealt with. What you’ll need to succeedYou will need a strong understanding of how to support a large organisation’s cyber functions.

• A strong ability to identify and monitor risk
• Follow the pre-defined assurance plan to sample and test the environment operated by suppliers.
• Escalate and identify issues from testing which could increase risk profile
• Building strong stakeholder relationships is key to this role, you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitoring the performance of suppliers and within the portfolio
• Supporting the wider team as a subject matter expertise

Holding current Security Clearance is needed for this role. What you’ll get in returnThis role is £650 INSIDE IR35 and based 40% on site in London.
