Cyber Security Risk Manager – Hybrid – Central Birmingham
Our client is an internationally renowned professional services market leader and are looking for a Cyber Security Risk Manager to come and join their team on a hybrid basis. You will be the main source of advice, guidance and direction in the business for Cyber Security risk management.
The core responsibilities of this role will be based around promoting and implementing a strong culture of cyber security to ensure the business-wide following of best practices. A solid understanding of technical cyber security concepts is needed but with a focus on Risk, Compliance and Governance (GRC).
In this position, experience of maintaining information security certifications and ensuring compliance to industry standards (namely ISO 27001 and Cyber Security Essentials Plus) is a necessity, along with the ability to manage and deliver auditing/testing of security controls. You will need to be a people person and be able to work collaboratively with multiple business units, supporting and advising on policies and risk. You will also be experienced in supporting tenders with external customers, again working with business units across the spectrum.
This role has scope to grow and develop, potentially building a team over time to support the work you do.
It is important that you bring a systematic, logical approach and the capacity to communicate difficult concepts effectively (written and verbally).
