Xpertise are currently looking for a Cyber Security Specialist for a client of ours within the financial sector.
For the successful Security professional there will be a 6 month contract available with a very good chance of extension – happy to explain why when speak. Our client’s overall Security team is growing in 2024 and therefore, we are looking for someone to join them on this journey & play an important role in monitoring and safeguarding critical systems and data.
Cyber Security Specialist – Responsibilities:
Development of SIEM solution
Develop, test, and optimize use cases within the SIEM
Conduct regular vulnerability scans and security assessments
Manage and provision security controls within cloud-based infrastructure and ensure controls adhere to security standards
Cyber Security Specialist – Skills:
Proficient in Windows and Linux systems with strong scripting knowledge
Excellent knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Firewalls, Endpoint Protection and IAM.
Experienced in security within Cloud environments, preferably AWS
In-depth knowledge of advanced security protocols and standards
Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms and PKI
Experience as a security SME
Experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring secure networks
