Project Overview:

Our client, a prestigious Tier 1 global bank, has been undergoing a critical phase of enhancing data security controls. Over the past 7-8 months, key personnel have been double-hatting to implement essential control measures. The objective now is to rewrite and enhance these controls to ensure robust data security.

About the Role:

We are seeking four highly skilled Data Security Consultants to join a leading global consultancy firm and play a pivotal role in this transformative project. You will be responsible for refining and advancing data security controls to meet stringent regulatory standards and protect sensitive information.

Consultant Role Specifics:

1. Role 1 (Control Area Specialist)
   • Focus: Extensive work on sensitivity classification of all data, including unstructured data (Microdot solution) and structured data (Microcredit technologies).
   • Expansion: Include databases and data architecture tools.
   • Review Focus: Independent review and experienced perspective, aligned with the bank’s initiatives using MIP, Purview, and Big ID tools.

1. Role 2 (Strategy and Governance Specialist)
   • Overview: High-level perspective (50,000-foot view), preferably with banking experience.
   • Expertise Needed: Familiarity with governance in banking, regulatory expectations, and providing independent checks on controls.
   • Skills: Evaluating best practices and strategic alignment, not overly technical but strategic.

1. Role 3 (M365 and Azure Security Expert)
   • Expertise: Must be an EXPERT
   • Focus: Primary email and collaboration platforms (M365) on-premises and in the cloud.
   • Special Requirements: Work under NDA, expertise in M365 and interconnected Azure environments.
   • Responsibilities: Validate and verify security structures, collaborate with Microsoft.
   • Experience: Senior architecture experience crucial, including conditional access, cryptography, and proxy settings.

1. Role 4 (Cybersecurity Roadmap Consultant)
   • Collaboration: Works with Strategy and Governance Specialist.
   • Objective: Translate current status and future plans into a coherent roadmap.
   • Focus Areas: Ensure correct structure and personnel within cybersecurity.
   • Expertise Needed: Senior-level experience, comprehensive review of cybersecurity practices, validate resource adequacy and strategic plans.
