Role Outline

To lead ADS’s role in the Defence sector, managing defence industry engagement programmes in line with ADS key deliverables for Members and Stakeholders with the view to managing membership whilst increasing membership.

Playing a key role in consulting with members on Defence matters in order to inform MoD (and other Government Departments) of UK Industry views and reactions to Government processes and practices, and influence them to the benefit of members.

The role directly reports to the Chief Executive Officer with 5 direct reports.

Skills & Competencies

• Comprehensive understanding of Defence Sector and ability to conduct market analysis and research
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, public briefing ability and telephone manner
• Ability to develop good networking relationships and able to communicate accurately and efficiently
• Strong communication and management skills
• Excellent leadership and a highly motivated team player

Contract & Benefits

• Contract; Permanent, fulltime, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Location; Hybrid working- 3 days in the London Office and 2 days from home
