Electronics Production Engineer

• Salary £35,000 – £45,000 plus benefits
• Must be eligible for SC / DV clearance

Electronics Production Engineer required to join a leading and fast-growing technical consultancy delivering software & hardware solutions to British MoD projects.

What do you need?

Candidates will have a degree or HND in Electronics with 2 or more years of relevant work experience. The role is diverse including programming and testing PCBs and systems, micro-controllers, high-speed digital interfaces and analogue / RF circuitry. All work carried out will be within a ESD sage lab and workshop on client site.

Job Description

• Program and test PCBs and systems using Linux and Windows driven software
• Maintain or develop assembly and test documentation
• Support electronic assembly including box build and cable harnesses
• Work in an ESD safe environment (safety equipment provided)
• Management of workshop including goods in/out

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Electronics / Engineering
• Experience in programming and testing electronic systems
• MS Office Tools
• Able to obtain UK Government security clearance
• Full UK driving license
• Able to commute or relocate to Guildford, Surrey.

Beneficial

• Experience of electronic assembly testing
• Linux or Windows based scripting such as Bash or Powershell
• Some experience with PCB design tools
