Head of IT
Location: Lincoln, LN4 2GW, we currently operate a hybrid working system of a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: 40,000 – 50,000 (under review)
Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) provides lifesaving critical care to the communities of Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire, funded by public donations. If somebody is involved in a serious incident or suddenly taken ill, speed and time are of the essence. Giving a patient the best chance of survival, our Air Ambulance crew effectively take the A&E department to the scene of the emergency.
About the Role
This is a new role and will be our first standalone IT member of staff. You will shape the IT provision and infrastructure for the charity, deliver an excellent day-to-day service, manage the relationship with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), take responsibility for cyber security and training and map out the implementation of new technology requirements for the charity to secure both efficiencies and effectiveness.
You will have strong people skills and be able to form effective working relationships with colleagues across the charity to deliver an excellent IT service. You will have a hands-on approach and enjoy working in partnership with a range of people from different departments. You will also have excellent knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure including servers, MS365, security, back up, networks etc.
