Head of IT & Data

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of IT & Data to join our team based in Bristol. You will join us on a full time, permanent (37 hours per week). This is a fully hybrid role but there are expectations to attend the office when required. It is envisaged this will be 2-3 days per week. In return, you will receive a salary of £68,250 per annum

About our Head of IT & Data role:

You will lead the IT and Data teams, delivering on our new IT and data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering strategic continuous improvement. As a key partner to the Executive team, you will provide expert guidance and strategic insight into all IT and data related matters. You will lead and develop a cross-functional team that can adapt to change and establishes data as a critical asset with IT delivery focused on enhancing the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities as our Head of IT & Data:

• Be responsible for the ongoing delivery and development of the Brighter Places IT and Data
• Lead and maintain a high-calibre team while promoting the IT and Data vision to support transformation and innovation across the organisation.
• Contribute as part of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that Brighter Places is continually at the forefront in the delivery of Digital and IT services, cyber security, procedures, and technology.
• Promote high performance and cross-team working both within the association and our external partners.
• Uphold our Equalities and Diversity Policies and ensure effective implementation and delivery relating to staff. Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the association

About our Head of IT & Data:

• Experience of leadership in a head of IT and Data / Senior Leadership role. You will have exceptional people management skills, building capability across the organisation and taking forward our culture of innovation and flexibility.
• Experience of creating and embedding IT and Data strategies.
• Knowledge of change management and problem solving to deliver a modern, fit for purpose data and IT service.
• Resilient when handling conflict and determined to go the extra mile.
• Can deal with challenging situations calmly and assertively with the drive and commitment to consistently deliver challenging targets.
