Our client are looking for a Head of IT Services to oversee their 4 IT departments- service desk, change team, cloud infrastructure and sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of infrastructure platforms on which software products are delivered to end customers. This includes Customer hosted, Co-Lo datacentre hosted and Azure Public cloud hosted product sets.
• Delivery of technology services to our internal customer base.
• Define, embed, and continually tune an Operating model to deliver superior technology service.
• Responsible for all Infrastructure provisioning and management to include Network & Security, Telephony, Datacentre, Cloud and End User device (including mobile devices)
• Implementation and management of cyber security architecture and operations.
• Own disaster recovery, including annual testing. Roadmap to securing ISO 22301.
• Operate the service desk, covering 1st , 2nd, and 3rd line support to internal and external customers. Managing at scale 3,000 tickets a month, with 90%+ SLA achievement. Responsible for driving high levels of customer happiness
• Define, secure buy in and keep current a 3-year strategy for Technology Services
• Full lifecycle IT Asset management for all hardware. Joiners and Leavers processes.
• Manage an ecosystem of 100+ third party technology providers. Both service and cost.
• Reporting – creating a holistic set of reports to evidence the performance of the team and the platforms and services the team is responsible for.
• Budgeting – Owning the budget for the team, including the annual budgeting process.
• Leading and driving engagement across different teams.

Experience Needed

• Extensive experience working in IT Operations Functions
• Proven experience leading IT Operations functions
• Experience running teams of 50+ technology specialists
• Experience running £10m+ budgets
• Proven track record of successfully delivering £5m+ Infrastructure transformation programs
• Experience producing and securing executive approval to Technology Services strategy and operational plans

Qualifications

• ITIL Qualifications
• Project Management Qualifications
• Microsoft certification (advantageous)
• Educated to degree level (advantageous)
• Working knowledge of ISO certifications – IS27001, ISO22301, ISO9001
• Working knowledge of cyber security frameworks, including CE+, NIST

Salary: £90-120,000 + Bonus and Benefits Package
