As someone with significant experience in information security, we want you to ensure the security and protection of the information assets and technology systems for the world s largest independent conservation organisation.

As Information & Cyber Security Manager, you will develop processes, policies and operational plans that support our ICT strategy and organisational objectives. This will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of the information security programme, including the development of information security policies, procedures, and standards. We will look to you to implement a Security Incidents and Events Management platform as well as manage security incidents, investigations and crisis management processes. You will implement and embed data loss prevention controls too. We will look to you to conduct regular risk assessments, provide stakeholder reporting and stay current with the latest trends, threats and developments in information security. You will also create, deliver and monitor all Information and Cyber security awareness and training programmes.

To play your part in bringing our world back to life, you must have relevant professional security certifications (such as Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, SC-200) as well as significant experience in information security. This will have given you a proven track record of building and managing effective information security programmes. You will possess good knowledge of information security best practices, frameworks, and regulations too, including Information Assurance for Small & Medium Enterprises, Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and GDPR. Comfortable overseeing investigations into security incidents and data breaches, you will also have an in-depth understanding of cloud security, data protection and privacy regulations as well as current best practices.

In addition to your technical abilities, you will be effective at building relationships, and possess strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. Important will be the ability to support and mentor colleagues.
