We are working with a global consultancy to find a Cyber Security Consultant to join their Birmingham office on a permanent basis. My client works across a range of industries including Energy, Government and Finance so this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within GRC.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 2 years’ experience in the GRC industry.
Understanding of security principles such as ISO27001 and NIST.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Understanding of risk assessment controls.
Ability to ensure security of cloud computing on Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform for a job opportunity.
Your day to day will vary and my client is big on internal collaboration, but you can expect to be:
Gaining a thorough understanding of our client’s technology and information systems.
Taking the lead in responding to RFPs/audits, including supplier security due diligence and third-party audit and assurance activities.
Identifying and communicating current and emerging security threats.
Aligning organisational security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and information technology strategy.
