The role:

This team are looking Information Security Learning and Development Specialist to significantly contribute to the enhancement of our organisation’s information security programme. This pivotal role involves the creation, implementation, and management of training programmes that aims to elevate employees’ understanding of information security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Day to Day of the role:

• Collaborate with Group and Regional information security teams to customise training programmes to regional business needs.
• Develop and implement metrics and reporting for the adoption of key systems and solutions.
• Regularly align training content with organisational changes and security requirements.
• Create, review, and update induction training programmes emphasising security awareness and compliance for new staff.
• Partner with external training resource providers to personalise training content and oversee training performance metrics.
• Work with internal Learning and Development Business Partners and Regional IT & Security Managers to assess training effectiveness.
• Deliver tailored training courses that meet the specific needs of the organisation.
• Perform capability assessments to pinpoint skill gaps and set training priorities.
• Analyse training statistics to provide actionable insights and support stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
• Design customised learning pathways for various job families and roles.
• Help develop skills matrices that align with security competencies.

Monday – Friday / Permanent/ 37.5 Hours / Hybrid Working 3 days in office/ Central Newcastle
