An exciting opportunity is available for an Information Specialist to join the Information and Knowledge Management team. The Team delivers management of information and records on behalf of the business to meet legal, regulatory and contractual requirements and supports the administration of key information and records repositories, both physical and digital.

The post holder will provide day-to-day support on all aspects of information management, promoting best practice, delivering specialist services, making the best use of new technologies and responding to the changing needs of the organisation.

Experience of knowledge and information management is desirable but not essential as training and development will be provided.

Location – Reading area

Salary – from 35,840 per annum

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Prioritisation and task management of business requests relating to information and records management.
• To manage, deliver and monitor services within the area of responsibility.
• Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
• Assuring the security and integrity of information pertaining to electronic information and systems.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on information management policies, standards, legislation and company processes and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of information management policies, standards, process and procedures.
• Undertake information management audits and assessments to produce performance reports that measure information management compliance, efficiency and maturity.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with users and stakeholders at all levels across the business are key.
• Deputise for the Senior Information Specialists when required and providing cover in their absence.

All Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
