The Role – IT Infrastructure Engineer

The Salary – £44,000 – £48,000

The Location – Remote

Occasional travel to sites is required.

I’m delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation looking to bring in an IT Infrastructure Engineer specialising in aspects of Cyber Security infrastructure.

Your day-to-day:

• Manage company infrastructure across the organisations windows-focused estate.
• Implement security measures to protect the IT infrastructure, including firewalls, deployments and data encryption.
• Manage server patching and work on processes to enhance the ongoing patch levels, ensuring that all machines are being patched at the appropriate levels.
• Create and harden Windows server images, having ownership of deployment technologies.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve cyber related issues within company infrastructure.
• Develop new processes to improve our security offering and cyber resilience.
• Liaise directly with clients on infrastructure and cyber incidents.

About you:

• You’ll have a proven track record working with large-scale infrastructure, specialising in Windows estates within large complex organisations.
• Experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, SQL, Citrix and cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience managing Microsoft environments.
• Experience implementing application and patch management.
• Proven experience of troubleshooting infrastructure issues from problem definition to solution building to full implementation.
• You’re able to juggle priorities across multiple teams and managers.
• Willing to travel to sites where necessary and managing processes.
