The Company:On the back of continued growth, this expanding professional services business is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Analyst.The Role:

• Provide ongoing support and monitoring for the IT network, ensuring that it meets the agreed SLAs and operational standards, and proactively seeking ways to improve it.
• Track the availability of IT services and report any deviations from the agreed targets to the Infrastructure Manager.
• Support the Infrastructure team in ensuring the continuity of critical business systems, by backing up and replicating data, assessing risks, and assisting with testing and maintenance plans.
• Implement and monitor the IT security controls and measures to protect the information assets of the firm, and escalate any issues or threats as needed.
• Maintain the security and patching of all systems and perform weekly scans to comply with the Cyber Essentials + Standard.
• Promote and use the appropriate methods and tools for the development, operation, management and maintenance of systems across the firm.
• Monitor the capacity of IT services and ensure that they meet the agreed performance levels.
• Follow the firm’s change management procedure for any changes to the live Infrastructure components, from request to implementation and review, to ensure the availability, effectiveness and safety of the Infrastructure.
• Help with managing the inventory of IT assets (hardware, software, network and user knowledge) owned by the firm.
• Carry out IT projects as required.
• Provide out of hours support as part of the Infrastructure “on call” team and respond to alerts (email, telephone etc) as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Experience with VMWare and vCenter products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Server 2016 or higher versions
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange/Exchange Online services
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite
• Skills in Microsoft SQL Server administration
• Ability to use MS Teams for collaboration
• Management of File Servers (DFS) systems
• Configuration of Active Directory and Azure AD domains
• Maintenance of DNS records
• Deployment of DHCP servers
• Support of Windows 10 and above devices
• Network Infrastructure
• Implementation of Backup and Replication solutions
• Control of MS 365 Tenant Admin settings
