As Infrastructure & Software Engineer you will join a small, professional and extremely friendly IT team in helping them transform and upgrade their current IT systems and environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to not only bring creative and innovative ideas to the team, but learn from an experienced Head of IT, who has grown and developed with the organisation over a number of years. Due to an exciting period of growth, they are looking to expand their IT offering by appointing a talented Infrastructure & Support Engineer.

Key responsibilities will include assisting the Head of IT in installing, managing and upgrading: –

• VMware ESXi server and vCSA infrastructure
• Server/Backup hardware provisioning
• Active directory domains, security groups, permission and group policies
• Veeam Backups
• Company applications, software updates and new software projects
• Windows laptop/desktop OS upgrades
• Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials as certified

As the ideal candidate you will have: –

• Building and administering VMware ESXi and visa environments
• Server hardware builds, testing and provision
• Administering Microsoft Windows Server environments
• Administering Microsoft domain environments
• Backup and recovery support
• Software application installations
