Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT and CyberSecurity Manager to join our team. You’ll be an ideal candidate if you have a strong background in managing Office 365, Intune, Defender for both Windows and Mac, and a good understanding of general cybersecurity practices on the use of a broad range of SaaS services. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company’s information systems and data, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of our organisational IT, and working with our IT vendor to provide support services. You will also input to and advise the senior team on future cyber security and enterprise IT strategy.

The successful candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm for how technology can help BeZero achieve its goals and will be a role model both in technical capability and leadership.

You’ll be responsible for :

• Establishing a strategic plan for the enterprise systems and cyber security (CE+/ISO/SOC2) in collaboration with the Executive team, ensuring that it aligns with BeZero’s mission and goals

• Managing and maintaining our company’s Office 365, Intune, and Defender for both Windows and Mac environments

• Overseeing and evaluating our managed service providers (MSP) to ensure superior service delivery and alignment with our IT and security policies

• Managing and maintaining the security of our company’s information systems and data

• Developing and implementing IT security policies and procedures.

• Monitoring and analysing security risks and vulnerabilities

• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Providing training and support to employees on IT security best practices

• Staying up-to-date with the latest IT and IT security trends and technologies and feeding these into day-to-day business practices

• Working alongside our Product Engineering team to ensure aligned response and recovery processes for our core SaaS offering – the BeZero Carbon Markets platform – and our other core internal bespoke systems

• Working alongside our Product Engineering team, taking responsibility for backup/recovery testing, penetration testing and general compliance (ISO 27001/ISO 9001).

You’ll be our ideal candidate if you have

• 5+ years of experience in IT and IT security management

• experience of having taken a small company through security certifications such as CE+, ISO or SOC2

• certifications in managing Office 365, Intune, and Defender for both Windows and Mac

• a good understanding of general cybersecurity practices on the use of a broad range of SaaS services

• excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences in order to collaborate on weighing up risks/benefits

• ideally a good working knowledge of AWS, Azure and Google Cloud including configuration, cost management and security.

• ideally an interest in mentoring and developing more junior members of the team.
