We at Elite Training and Consultancy are delighted to say that due to the expansion of the IT Modern Apprenticeship division of our business we are now looking for a further IT Assessor to join our dynamic team.

Your key responsibilities as an IT Assessor will include:

• Assess and guide apprentices through their IT apprenticeship journey in accordance with the established Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) standards for Digital Technology Awards at the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) levels 6 and 8, encompassing various occupational disciplines including.:

Software Development, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, IT Infrastructure, IT Support

• Guide and assist individuals in enhancing their skills and technical competencies through mentoring and support.
• Successfully oversee a caseload of candidates, collaborating with both candidates and employers throughout Scotland.
• Streamline diary management, maintaining consistent communication with candidates for optimal efficiency.
• Set tailored objectives for each candidate, aligning them with their abilities to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Track candidates’ progress throughout their apprenticeship, proactively addressing challenges to ensure timely qualification completion.
• Provide positive and constructive feedback to apprentices, nurturing their professional growth.
• Compliance with qualification assessment strategies in line with industry standards.

What we’re looking for:

• Recognised qualification in IT or a related field.
• Substantial experience in IT, with a focus in utilising Microsoft Office Applications and other technologies
• Previous experience in assessing or mentoring individuals in a professional and/or educational setting.
• Strong organisational skills with an effective approach to managing day-to-day administrative responsibilities.
• Efficient time management abilities and meeting strict deadlines
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

• Familiarity with apprenticeship programs
• Experience in delivering IT & Telecommunication Professional/Digital Technology SVQ
• Possession of a recognised assessor award
